CPE Investments Announces Non-Executive Appointment To Board

China Private Equity Investments, the Hong Kong-based private equity investment holding group, has added a new non-executive director to its board.

Conor MacNamara takes a seat at the firm with immediate effect, bringing with him significant experience in structuring alternative investment products.

MacNamara has spent most of his career in the Japanese and Asian markets, holdings senior roles at ABN AMRO / RBS Global Banking, Gen Re Securities and RBC Dominion Securities. He is also a partner as Adamas Asset Management, responsible for capital raising for all funds, including Asia/Japan fund of funds and the Asia and Greater China private equity funds.

With his addition, CPE's board, led by John Croft as executive chairman, now has six members.

The financial services arm of CPE invests in wholly foreign-owned financial institutions operating in China and large fund management entities based in Asia.
