Rothschild Wealth Management Hires Duo For Swiss Team

Rothschild Wealth Management has appointed Markus Gähwiler and Martin Troxler as client advisors on its Swiss team, which is headed by Aitor Garcia.

Based in Zurich, Troxler will concentrate on the Mittelland region and Bern in particular, while Gähwiler will focus on eastern Switzerland.

Gähwiler joins Rothschild from St Galler Kantonalbank, where he latterly served key high-net-worth clients for the bank. Before that, he held various management positions at the bank, including head of the private banking business in Rapperswil. Gähwiler will take up his new position at Rothschild on 1 October 2013.

Troxler will be strengthening Rothschild’s client advisor team in Zurich from 12 August 2013. Before joining Rothschild, he served as an executive director in family office services at VP Bank in Zurich.

Rothschild’s wealth management business currently has €15 billion (around $19 billion) in assets under management, and clients have an average of €5 million in investable assets.
