UK-Based RWC Adds To Fund Management Roster

In fewer than six weeks since its last fund management appointment, the London-based RWC Partners has appointed Peter Allwright and Stuart Frost to the boutique asset management group to manage the absolute return and currency funds.

Allwright, recently worked for Threadneedle and served as the global fund manager. Prior to this, he was a senior portfolio manager at Gartmore and Royal London Asset Management. Frost also recently worked for Threadneedle and prior to that he held numerous senior positions at NatWest Markets.

The appointment follows news of the recent Schroders acquisition of RWC. Schroders acquired a 49 per cent stake in RWC but allowed RWC to remain as a separate legal entity.

On joining RWC, Allwright and Frost will both manage the strategic reserve fund.
