New London-Based Private Investment Office Launched

The new private investment office has been created to "reimagine" the concept of this business model, its creator says.
A private investment office in London’s Mayfair that targets
a range of sectors, ASV Private
Office, has been launched.
Founded by its principal, Simon Vumbaca (pictured), the
organisation has been created to “reimagine the private
investment model,” according to a statement from the
group.
Vumbaca, formerly a dual-qualified lawyer - he was a managing
partner at ASV Law and sold that firm in 2020 – he has also been
a figure in the world of sports, entertainment and corporate
M&A deals for the past 30 years. He is a board member of
Sunderland, the UK football club, and has been a trustee and
executive committee member of the British Basketball League,
according to his public profile. He was also involved in Formula
1’s deals with Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ASV targets “sustainable growth” with a particular focus on the
sports, entertainment, infrastructure, energy, technology and
healthcare sectors, it said.
In its launch release, ASV Private Office said that in 2019
Vumbaca “died for 27 seconds,” an experience that gave
him a chance to reassess his life and business career.
“The ASVPO model is to lead a carefully constructed group of
aligned interested parties and expert collaborators to set and to
execute a sophisticated value creation strategy,” the statement
from the organisation said.
