Brewin Dolphin Expands London Empire

The firm's head office remains in London at 12 Smithfield Street.

UK wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has opened its new West End office at 8 Waterloo Place in St. James’s, London. The company’s head office remains in London at 12 Smithfield Street.

This new office, which is the company’s 30th office, is led by Simon Blowey, who has been with Brewin Dolphin for 11 years, it said in a statement.

Brewin Dolphin is currently recruiting more client-facing professionals for the new office and will announce further details in due course. The office will have 21 staff - existing and new professionals, who will be helping clients with their financial needs.

The firm said that as well as concentrating on propositional innovation, it will focus on business development and work with clients’ other advisers in the intermediary market in the centre and west of the city.

“We are thrilled to open our new West End office at this exciting time when the firm is on a clear growth trajectory,” said Charlie Ferry, managing director of private clients at Brewin Dolphin. “At an inflection point for the industry, we look forward to building the team for our new office, in line with our South East expansion strategy, hiring talented individuals, whilst enhancing and developing our services, and focusing upon innovation and distribution.”

Brewin Dolphin has around £42.3 billion in total funds. It offers wealth management services for over 80,000 account holders, including individuals, charities and corporates.
