Dolfin Hires UBS Intermediary Specialist

The UK financial services firm has created a new role targeting the intermediary market.

Dolfin has appointed Philipp Iarmaltchouk, previously of UBS Wealth Management, as a senior relationship manager for Western Europe.

Iarmaltchouk spent six years in various roles at UBS. According to his LinkedIn profile, his most recent role at the firm was business developer of global financial intermediaries. He was a founding member of the global financial intermediaries franchise in London, responsible for doubling the asset base in the space of two years.

Iarmaltchouk’s focus will be on financial intermediaries. He will be based in London, reporting to Georgios Ercan, head of sales.

“Philipp’s experience and skill set will be a huge asset to us as we look to help more financial intermediaries build the business they aspire to,” said Ercan.

Dolfin, which provides asset management, trading and custody services, says it has grown its staff by 50 per cent each year since 2013.
