NatWest's Wealth Arm Names New CFO

NatWest Group’s wealth businesses – including said in a statement yesterday. Until Munro joins, Stuart Nimmo will serve as interim CFO for the wealth division, alongside his responsibilities as retail CFO. Munro will be succeeding Siobhan Boylan, who was appointed CFO of abrdn, the asset manager, in February. She brings more than three decades of experience at JP Morgan, where she most recently served as chief financial officer and head of business management for its international private bank. In addition to her responsibilities as part of the wealth executive committee, Munro will sit on the Coutts board and be a member of the finance executive committee. She will report directly to group CFO Katie Murray. “Her knowledge of the wealth market and her exceptional track record in financial management and business growth will be invaluable as we accelerate the delivery of our strategy and deliver on our growth ambitions,” said Emma Crystal, CEO, Wealth Businesses, NatWest Group. The appointment follows a series of recent hires as NatWest continues to build its private banking leadership team. Coutts recently named James Todd as managing director, Coutts coverage, reporting to Crystal. Todd, who was previously head of the UK domestic private bank at JP Morgan, spent 15 years at Barclays, where he served in senior roles including head of UK domestic private banking and head of family office. Further appointments include Jan-Marc Fergg, who will be joining the bank in September to lead the investment products and solutions business, and Dalia Hammoudi, a former Barclays Private Bank executive, who was appointed in June as managing director, Coutts international markets.
