Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Coutts, Hoxton Wealth, Quilter

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes among wealth management and related organisations in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and select international locations.

Coutts
Coutts has appointed a former Barclays Private Bank figure, Dalia Hammoudi, to be managing director of Coutts International Markets.

This is a London-based role; Hammoudi reports to Warren Thompson, head of Coutts International, family office and ultra-high net worth business.

At Barclays, Hammoudi led its Middle East business, and worked at Citibank, where she served in roles focused on client management and leading teams across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East and North Africa regions.

Originally from Jordan, Hammoudi has worked outside the UK in both Canada and the US.

“I am delighted to be welcoming Dalia as our new MD of Coutts International. Her insight into the global financial landscape will be a great asset to both our UK and international clients. In particular, her significant experience in the Middle East will be invaluable, not only helping to drive our growth ambitions in this region, but also in the other global markets we serve from the UK,” Emma Crystal (pictured below), CEO, wealth businesses at NatWest Group, said.

Gunay has worked in financial services in a number of jurisdictions for two decades, starting in Turkey after graduating with a degree in mathematics. Also, she is a qualified personal transformation coach.

“Her deep understanding of the UK financial landscape and the needs of clients navigating complex financial decisions aligns closely with our mission to deliver expert, UK-focused wealth management. Her strong commitment to technical excellence and her pursuit of Chartered Financial Planner status reflects the high standards of professionalism we value,” Oliver Gorman, revenue director at Hoxton Wealth, said.

Quilter
London-headquartered Quilter, an advisor platform, has appointed Warren Vickers as commercial director reporting to chief distribution officer, Steve Gazard

Vickers was previously commercial director at The Openwork Partnership, where he was responsible for supporting its advisor network and central teams. He has experience in the financial advice sector, including previous roles as managing director at Tenet Group, where he was responsible for its DA support business and the group's proposition, sales and marketing divisions. He was also a director at TCC Group.

In his new role, Vickers will work closely with Gazard to support the continued development and evolution of Quilter’s distribution proposition and support advisors and firms across both internal and external channels.

"Having known Warren for many years, I am delighted to welcome him to my leadership team,” Gazard said. “His deep sector knowledge, commercial mindset, regulatory experience and track record of supporting firms make him a fantastic addition as we continue to evolve Quilter's distribution proposition and enhance the support we offer to advisors."
