Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Moonfare, Hawksford, Foster Denovo

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Moonfare
Moonfare, a global
private markets investment platform and manager, has appointed
Chris Maule (pictured) as head of UK, based in London.
Maule, who has more than 15 years’ experience across private markets, alternatives and investor distribution, will be responsible for accelerating Moonfare's growth in the UK market among private investors and family offices. This will involve shaping and executing Moonfare’s UK strategy, cultivating investor relationships and developing and growing the UK investor relations team.
Prior to this role, Maule spent six years leading Connection Capital’s private client and family office distribution strategy. He oversaw fundraising across private equity, private debt and alternative fund strategies, and helped shape the firm’s UK private client franchise. Earlier in his career, he founded and built a regulated investment platform connecting private and institutional investors with carefully assessed borrowers, developing strong relationships across the alternatives market.
“Just under 20 per cent of Moonfare's clients are based in the UK, making it one of our most important markets. As a global financial centre, it has a sophisticated investor base with strong appetite for high-quality private markets opportunities,” Steffen Pauls, founder and co-CEO of Moonfare, said. “Chris brings deep knowledge in alternatives and strong expertise across the UK market, which will be invaluable as we continue to scale.”
Maule’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Alice Avenel as head of France and Benelux, and Joanna Christie as chief marketing officer.
This news service has interviewed Moonfare. Moonfare is used by more than 5,500 investors and has €3.9 billion ($4.52 billion) in assets under management, as of Q1 2026. Headquartered in Berlin, the firm operates in 24 countries, with offices in New York, London, Singapore, Paris and Luxembourg.

He holds the ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants.
Tinkler (pictured below) will continue to support the strategic growth of the business in the jurisdiction and across the wider region, concentrating more on client relationships and business development, as well as delivering accounting, payroll and tax advisory.

Tinkler, who has worked with accounting and tax teams for more than 30 years across diverse industries, joined Hawksford in 2019. Tinkler is a fellow of the Certified Institute of Bookkeepers.
Following her promotion to director in Ireland, Monaghan (pictured below) will take on additional responsibilities to lead the delivery of fiduciary services across multiple jurisdictions, in particular the firm’s operations in Belfast, Dublin and New Zealand.
