Weatherbys
Weatherbys, a UK private bank, has appointed Antonia Lim, a former senior figure at Schroders, and current chief investment officer of Impact Cubed, as chair of the investment committee and board advisor.

Lim brings more than 25 years of both technical expertise and experience in international investment across asset classes and strategies, including seven years as Barclays’ global head of quantitative research.

At Schroders, Lim was head of “quantamental investments.” The term refers to an investment approach that combines quantitative analysis (data-driven, algorithmic, and statistical methods) with fundamental analysis (traditional evaluation of financial statements, market conditions, and company performance).

“As more clients turn to Weatherbys for financial planning and investment advice, the role of the investment committee continues to be central. Antonia’s quantitative expertise and multi-asset experience dovetail well with our long-term, client-focused philosophy, and I’m delighted to welcome her as chair,” Weatherbys CEO Quentin Marshall, who previously chaired the committee, said. (This news service recently interviewed Marshall about the bank’s strategy.
