UK Wealth Manager Opens New Office

UK asset manager TrinityBridge, formerly known as Close Brothers Asset Management, opens new office, marking the latest step in the firm’s regional expansion.

TrinityBridge has just opened a new Guildford office, providing high net worth clients in the South of England with better access to its investment management services

This new office reflects the trend of UK and international wealth management firms continuing to expand their regional footprints. For example, wealth manager Canaccord Wealth has just announced that it has relocated its team in Newcastle to an ultra-modern, purpose-built office and Cazenove Capital, part of the Schroders Group, recently opened new offices Birmingham.

Fully operational as of Friday, TrinityBridge’s office is based in the Bottle Works development in the heart of Guildford, the firm said in a statement. Formerly one of the largest bottling depots in the country, the building combines the historical character of the original structure with ESG credentials.

The Guildford office will be home to 11 TrinityBridge employees including senior investment directors Justin Yeldham, Tom Squire and Mark Henley, all of whom will be lead by team head Simon Tabb.

The firm was recently bought by US-headquarterd Oaktree Capital Management for an equity value of up to £200 million ($253.9 million).

“While we are a national firm, we are proud to strengthen our presence in the South and look forward to working closer with clients in the area and providing them with even more localised, personal support,” Eddy Reynolds, chief executive officer at TrinityBridge, said.

The firm has teams across the UK from Chichester to Edinburgh and Bristol to London.
