Switzerland's Targa 5 Advisors Adds Banker For Latin America Growth

The Geneva-based independent wealth manager has recruited a former Banque Audi banker as it continues to expand its Latin American client business.
Targa 5 Advisors has appointed Fernando Reis as senior relationship manager, strengthening its coverage of high and ultra-high net worth families in Latin America. He took up the Geneva-based role on 1 October.
Reis has joined from Banque Audi (Suisse), where he spent 12 years serving international clients, including entrepreneurs, investors and Latin American families. He previously spent almost four years on the Latin America desk at Barclays Switzerland.
Targa 5 Advisors is an independent wealth manager and family office based in Geneva. The FINMA-authorised firm manages more than SFr1.3 billion ($1.56 billion) in assets and serves an international client base, with a particular focus on Latin America.
Reis is the latest in a series of appointments at the firm this year. Targa 5 has also recruited Louis Philippe Martel as senior wealth manager and country head of Mexico and Bruno Jaggi to join its investment team. Frédéric Binder and Marcelo Curti have joined as independent directors.
Reis's recruitment comes as Switzerland's wealth management sector continues to be an important centre for international and cross-border private clients, including wealthy families from Latin America. See an article here about Deutsche Bank, for example.
