Eastspring Makes C-Suite Appointments

At the end of last year, the firm oversaw $258 billion of assets on behalf of institutional and retail clients.
Eastspring
Investments, the Asian investment management arm of UK-listed
Prudential, has appointed Terence Lim as chief risk officer, and
Janelle Yeo as chief financial officer.
Lim, who will be joining the firm on 29 August, reporting to
Seck Wai-Kwong, chief executive officer, will be a member of the
firm’s executive management committee.
Based in Singapore, Lim will oversee compliance, risk, and
governance activities across Eastspring. Lim brings more than 20
years of experience. Most recently, he was Asia-Pacific chief
risk officer at abrdn, where he provided regional oversight and
leadership of the risk and compliance function, as well as
enterprise risk across its regional businesses. (abrdn was
formerly known as Standard Life Aberdeen.)
The firm also appointed Yeo as CFO. Yeo, who has spent more than
two decades in financial services, has been with Eastspring since
2008. Her last role was head of corporate strategy and
mergers and acquisition. Effective immediately, she will be
responsible for the finance and legal functions at
Eastspring.
As reported here, last year Eastspring created a new
management structure.
