Client onboarding specialist Appway hopes to bring together hundreds of financial services industry experts to discuss best practices in the use of technology.

Appway is set to host Appway Sphere 2016, a conference in Zurich exploring the status of digitisation in the financial services industry.

The event will take place on 20-21 September. It aims to attract more than 400 high-profile professionals from the financial services and technology industries, with sessions exploring how organisations can grow through digital platforms.

“The financial services industry is at a pivotal point in its history,” said Appway's founder and CEO, Hanspeter Wolf. “We foresee major changes in how business of tomorrow will operate, and it is our mission to ensure that digital tools are used to empower people and bring them into the core of business.”

Zurich-headquartered Appway recently opened an office in London. The firm also has offices in Zurich, Ticino, Geneva, Toronto, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.
