UK-Based Crypto Assets, DLT Investment House Appoints COO
The firm focuses on opening up crypto assets and distributed ledger technology to institutional and professional investors.
Aaro Capital,
the crypto assets and distributed ledger technology investment
specialist, has named Saul Benjamin as its chief operating
officer. With more than 20 years of financial services
experience, he will be joining a team of 20. Benjamin will
be based in London reporting to chief executive Peter
Habermacher.
Prior to joining Aaro Capital, Benjamin served as the global COO
at Investcorp-Tages, overseeing multi billion dollar alternative
asset management operations. He has held executive positions at
Tages Capital, Tarchon Capital Management, and Pamplona Capital
Management. He holds a degree in economics and social studies
from the University of Manchester and is a chartered accountant
and CAIA charterholder.

industry, combined with his leadership skills, will be

institutional clients as Aaro Capital continues to open up the
exciting new assets class of crypto assets and DLT to
institutional and other professional investors in the

Aaro Capital was established in 2018. Team members included
figures such as Aaro’s head of investment research Peter Rigg
(former global head of HSBC Alternative Investment Group), head
of operational due diligence Olga Romanova (former head of
operational due diligence at International Asset Management),
sales director Liz Adnitt (former head of UK wholesale
distribution at Sanlam Investments) and chairman Stuart MacDonald
(managing partner at Bride Valley Partners).
