The promotions apply to figures across a range of international financial centres in Europe and the Caribbean.

Offshore law firm Appleby has made nine senior promotions across its Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey offices.

The promotions include members from the group’s corporate and dispute resolution practices, Appleby said. 

Partner promotions:

Counsel promotions:
-- James Batten (dispute resolution, Bermuda); 
-- Tamara Cameron (dispute resolution, British Virgin Islands); 
-- Brittany Cummings (corporate, British Virgin Islands); 
-- Daniel Healy (corporate, Jersey); 
-- Jordan Knight (dispute resolution, Bermuda); 
-- Miriam Smyth (corporate, Cayman Islands); and
-- Alex Thornton de Mauroy (dispute resolution, Guernsey).
