5 November 2026
Janus Henderson Investors The fund is managed by portfolio managers Benjamin Wang and Zoey Zhu, alongside Victoria Mio, head of Greater China Equities, who have 21, 13 and 28 years of industry experience, respectively. It adopts an active, risk-controlled approach, investing in a diversified portfolio of approximately 100 to 150 Chinese companies. This fund, which marks the latest expansion of Janus Henderson’s active ETF franchise, gives clients a transparent and diversified way to access the long-term opportunities emerging from China’s structural transformation, creating areas of long-term growth potential. Investors can access these opportunities through an approach that combines fundamental and thematic insights with quantitative portfolio construction, balancing active conviction with systematic discipline and diversification. “China is home to a wide array of companies, allowing investors to balance exposure between businesses positioned to benefit from structural growth themes and those offering attractive valuations and improving shareholder returns,” Mio said. “Current valuations appear attractive, while the dispersion of returns across Chinese companies and sectors creates opportunities for active managers to enhance performance.” A number of firms have been continuing their expansion into ETFs, for example Amundi, Schroders, Pictet Asset Management, Invesco, and Franklin Templeton. Man Group The two new actively managed funds, marking an expansion of the firm's European platform, represent the firm's latest milestone in making its institutional-grade strategies available in a liquid, transparent structure for wealth investors. The funds are listed on the London Stock Exchange, trading in sterling and dollars, as well as on Euronext Milan and Xetra, trading in euros. These launches build upon the rollout of the firm's US ETF suite, which was initiated in late 2025 and currently encompasses actively managed strategies across credit, equities and alternatives. The Man Active Trend Enhanced UCITS ETF is a systematic strategy designed to combine broad global equity market participation with a quantitative trend-following overlay across global futures markets, the firm said in a statement. The fund aims to generate capital growth over the medium to long term by capturing potential upside while systematically seeking to cushion drawdowns across varying market regimes. Russell Korgaonkar and Giuliana Bordigoni are the portfolio managers primarily responsible for the daily management of the fund. The Man Active Global Infrastructure UCITS ETF, which is managed by Al Chu, aims to provide investors with exposure to global listed infrastructure companies, targeting long-term capital growth. The fund will be managed in line with the same investment philosophy and process as the firm's existing global listed infrastructure strategy, ensuring consistency of approach across geographies and investor bases. "With our first UCITS ETFs, we're giving wealth investors in Europe access to active strategies built on the same investment expertise our institutional clients have relied upon for decades,” Mark Bedford, global head of wealth, Man Group, said. “These launches are a first step, and a foundation we intend to build on as we grow our presence in Europe. Whether it's the sophistication of our trend-following models, honed over more than 35 years, or our disciplined approach to infrastructure investing, we believe these strategies offer European investors something differentiated: institutional rigour in an ETF, built with them in mind."
