What’s New In Investments, Funds? – Amundi Launches Three ETFs

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relevant to wealth advisors and their clients.
Amundi
Amundi a European asset
manager, is following a trend of expanding its thematic
exchange-traded fund (ETF) offering. It has three new solutions
designed to provide investors with exposure to the AI and future
technology megatrends: the Amundi Global Space Technologies UCITS
ETF, the Amundi Global Critical Metals & Rare Earths UCITS ETF,
and the Amundi Global Electrification Infrastructure UCITS ETF.
These three ETFs will be listed on Xetra and Euronext Paris on
the 20th of October.
Demand for thematic exposures is continuing to grow, among retail and digital platforms, as well as among professional investors looking for simple and effective ways to capture long-term structural themes, the firm said in a statement. Following the launch of two thematic ETFs focused on memory chips and data centres this summer, these new ETFs extend Amundi’s thematic offering to include the physical enablers of technological innovation: critical metals, power grids and space infrastructure.
The Amundi Global Space Technologies UCITS ETF offers exposure to the space value chain, such as space infrastructure, launchers or ground stations critical to navigation, surveillance and global connectivity.
The Amundi Global Critical Metals & Rare Earths UCITS ETF seeks to capture exposure to companies involved in business operations in the field of metals and rare earths, essential to the development of the AI value chain and energy technologies.
The Amundi Global Electrification Infrastructure UCITS ETF provides exposure to companies enabling the electrification of the economy, power grids, transmission and distribution infrastructure, critical to meeting structural electricity demand growth and to ensuring grid infrastructure resilience and reliability.
A number of firms have been continuing their expansion into ETFs, for example Schroders, Pictet Asset Management, Invesco, and Franklin Templeton. See more here and here.
