Evelyn Partners
UK wealth manager has continued to bolster its investment management team in its Leeds office by appointing Lauren Glaister as a partner.

Glaister is joining from LGT Wealth Management’s discretionary fund management business, previously part of abrdn, where she spent three years as a senior investment manager, the firm said in a statement. Prior to LGT and abrdn, she worked for Tilney Investment Management, now Evelyn Partners, and Redmayne-Bentley. Glaister, who specialises in managing investments for private clients, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. She is also a trustee of Leeds Hospitals Charity and sits on their finance and performance, and audit and risk committees.

Glaister's hire follows the firm’s appointment of Matthew Wells as a partner in its Leeds investment management team last November, as well as other senior appointments, such as here and here. The organisation has made a number of acquisitions, such as here with Creasys Group.

Evelyn Partners’ Leeds office – which is based at City Point in King Street – provides a range of services, including financial planning, investment management and tax advice to help clients manage their personal and business financial affairs.

“Lauren is a former colleague, and I am looking forward to working with her again as we continue with our growth plans in the region over the course of 2024. I know that Lauren’s extensive, senior investment management will be a great asset for our business and clients,” Ian Gibson, managing partner in Evelyn Partners’ Leeds office, said.

UK-based Evelyn Partners has £54.9 billion ($66.5 billion) of assets under management, with a range of offices in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
