Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Matthew Schofield to the position of head of Zurich private clients, broker division, UK general insurance, according to www.broking.co.uk.

Mr Schofield will take responsibility for Zurich private clients from 23 November reporting into Richard Coleman, director, personal lines and SME.

“Our ambition is to grow share significantly in the HNW market - we have a strong proposition, underpinned by a dedicated team of specialists and this, combined with a robust plan of action to tackle the areas we know we need to improve on, means that we have an exciting outlook ahead for the Zurich Private Clients business,” Mr Coleman said.
