Woodford IM Names Head Of Third-Party Relationships

This publication brings latest news on moves and appointments in the global wealth management industry.
UK-based Woodford Investment Management has appointed Tessa
Thomson as head of third-party relationships. Thomson previously
worked at Invesco Perpetual, where Neil Woodford, founder of the
eponymous business, made his reputation as an outstanding money
manager.
Thomson has more than 20 years of industry experience. At Invesco
Perpetual she was most recently head of distribution
operations.
In her new role she will be responsible for all third-party
relationships, including the company’s relationship with the
board of the Woodford Patient Capital Trust, non-executive
directors, and partners including Capita, Northern Trust and
Deloitte, the firm said in a statement.
Thomson joins the firm in June this year.
Neil Woodford created Woodford IM in 2014, taking a number of
Invesco Perpetual team members with him.
