Withers Expands London Office

The law firm has hired an experienced lawyer, who has great knowledge in the finance and banking industry.

Law firm Withers has appointed banking and finance special counsel Xanthe Lok to its London office.

Lok has joined Withers from Gowling WLG, where she was a senior member of the banking team, the firm said in a statement.

She brings a wealth of legal and commercial experience in the banking industry. Her practice focuses on advising borrowers, including public and private companies, trustees and private individuals on a variety of different financial issues including commercial and high-end residential property.

"Xanthe has long played a leading role on transactions, and we look forward to her assuming a prominent position in our banking and finance team,” said Jeremy Wakeham, global head of Withers' business division.” Her broad experience will be very well received by our entrepreneurial and institutional clients, and her work with private banks and individual borrowers demonstrates that she is well-placed to advise our high calibre client base," he added.
