Wilmington Trust Appoints Florida Market President

Wilmington Trust is continuing its push into “dynamic markets” such as Florida and Washington, DC, hiring Robert Bauchman as president of its Florida market.

Reporting to Jack Sawyer, president of Wilmington’s Southeast region, Bauchman will oversee wealth advisory operations in the region. He was previously managing director and head of Wilmington’s Vero Beach, FL office.

Bauchman has also worked at Northern Trust, including three years as president of the San Diego and La Jolla, CA offices, as well as 13 years as regional president in the Vero Beach office.

Wilmington opened its first Florida office in Stuart in 1983 and now has offices in Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Stuart, and Vero Beach.

In April, Wilmington added four wealth advisors from Wells Fargo Private Bank to its new Washington, DC office.

Wilmington Trust, an affiliate of M&T Bank, has offices in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, the Cayman Islands, the Channel Islands, London, Dublin, Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Amsterdam.
