Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Mount Street Group, Evelyn Partners, Others

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

Mount Street Group
Mount Street Group, a global third-party loan servicing and credit asset management firm, has appointed Serenity Morley as global chief operating officer, a newly-created role.

Morley (pictured) will be instrumental in ensuring continuity and cohesion across the firm on a global level, as well as strengthening Mount Street’s international offering using its proprietary technology, CreditHub, which provides clients with real-time data, analysis and unique insights essential to effectively manage their portfolios.

Morley will also be responsible for coordinating the overall growth strategy of the group and developing new business opportunities across all areas of loan servicing and asset management.

She will continue to cross-sell the global brand while supporting the company’s day-to-day vision, the firm said.

She has over 20 years’ worth of experience in the financial services sector – the last seven of which have been at Mount Street – including leading a 10-year strategic agreement with Aviva Investors for asset servicing arrangements for its Real Assets business, totalling £50 billion AuM. As head of loan servicing at Mount Street, she has been responsible for the company’s EMEA Credit Servicing group in Europe and Asia for the past three years.

“Serenity has been integral in building the current platform, ensuring our strategies are delivered with precision and bringing globalisation to our service offering, which is critical for growing our existing client partnerships and developing new ones,” Paul Lloyd, co-founder and CEO at Mount Street, said.

Mount Street, which has approximately €150 billion of AuM, has built an international team of seasoned banking, real estate, infrastructure, shipping, and technology professionals, based in 11 offices in key financial centres worldwide.

Evelyn Partners
Evelyn Partners, a UK wealth management and professional services group, has appointed Sally Boyle as an independent non-executive director. She is replacing Elizabeth Chambers who is leaving the board after serving as a non-executive director since 2015, the firm said in a statement.

Boyle is an experienced non-executive director, who currently serves on the board of UK-listed construction group Galliford Try plc, where she chairs the remuneration committee, and the board of Cambridge University Press and Assessment. Between January 2017 and January 2023, she was also a member of the board of the Royal Air Force, where she chaired the people and diversity committee.

After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in law, Boyle began her career as a solicitor at Simmons and Simmons, spending several years in private practice as an employment law specialist before joining Goldman Sachs International as head of human capital management for the EMEA region. She was made a partner of Goldman Sachs in 2010 and became the international bead of Human Capital Management until she retired in December 2021. She was on the board of Goldman Sachs International and its management committee and co-chaired the EMEA diversity and inclusion committee.

“She brings a huge amount of commercial and financial services experience to the Board. The quality of our people, their skills and expertise are central to the success of our business, so Sally’s background in human capital management at a leading global financial services institution will prove particularly invaluable to Evelyn Partners as we continue to focus on attracting talent, developing people, and ensuring that Evelyn Partners has an inclusive and rewarding culture,” Chris Grigg, chair of Evelyn Partners, said.
