Zenzic Capital
Zenzic Capital, a real estate credit and special situations investment manager, has made two new appointments as it grows its team. Based in Zenzic’s London headquarters, both hires will report to Simon Brown, who recently joined the firm as head of real estate development finance lending.

Richard Clouston has been appointed as vice-president, development finance, and brings almost 10 years’ real estate lending experience to the firm. Previously, he worked at the Bank of New Zealand, where he spent eight years in their Auckland office, most recently as client director with a key role in the delivery of investment and development finance to real estate clients in a number of sectors. His new role will focus on building on existing and establishing new relationships with introducers, UK residential property developers and property investors, the firm said in a statement.

Edward Barnes is joining Zenzic as a credit analyst from Westpac Banking Corporation in Melbourne, Australia, where he spent three years as an assistant relationship manager in their property finance team. At Zenzic he will be responsible for research, financial analysis and transactions underwriting, predominantly for real estate mezzanine and senior debt opportunities.
