Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – ZEDRA, AIC

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

ZEDRA
ZEDRA, a global professional services provider, has appointed Cameron Senior (pictured) in the newly-created role of deputy regional head of the Crown Dependencies.

“As we continue to expand globally, the creation of a deputy role in the Crown Dependencies reinforces both the growing scale of our regional businesses and our sustained long-term growth trajectory,” group chief executive officer, Dean Blackburn, said in a statement.

Senior, who has more than 25 years of experience in international banking and financial services, has worked in jurisdictions including Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Jersey. Based in Jersey, he will work closely with regional head of the Crown Dependencies, Steven Bowen, and the wider leadership team in ZEDRA’s Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man offices.

Senior’s appointment follows a series of strategic senior appointments to the business’s leadership team and underpins ZEDRA’s continued commitment to investing in first class service to deliver long-term sustainable growth for both its people, and clients, the firm said in a statement.

Association of Investment Companies
The Association of Investment Companies, a UK industry group, has appointed Sapna Shah as its chair, taking immediate effect after the body’s annual general meeting.

Shah, who is a senior advisor at Panmure Liberum, was previously co-head of the investment companies team.

Elsewhere, AIC members elected Alison Jefferis to join the board as non-executive director. Stephanie Coxon and Cathy Pitt have been re-elected as non-executive directors, the AIC said in a statement. Gay Collins and Francesca Ecsery (former chair of the remuneration committee) have both retired from the board after six years of service.

The previous AIC chair was Gordon Humprhies.

Shah, who joined the AIC board in 2021, was appointed deputy chair in January 2024. She is a member of the remuneration committee.

Before her time at Panmure Liberum, she held senior positions at Cenkos Securities and Stifel after beginning her career with UBS. She is non-executive director of BioPharma Credit, Pantheon Infrastructure and BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust and senior independent non-executive director of Supermarket Income REIT.
