Blair Investment Management has appointed Chandan Khanna

Global Leaders Select Strategy combines William Blair’s established global equities capabilities with an investment approach that Khanna has applied since 2021. The strategy’s focus on a concentrated portfolio of high-quality global companies with durable growth closely reflects the philosophy and portfolio-construction approach Khanna employed before joining William Blair.
Khanna brings more than 15 years of experience as a public equity investor, with a track record in high conviction strategies. Most recently, he served as senior partner and portfolio manager at Eighteen48 Partners, managing the Sixteen02 Global Equity Fund. Prior to this, he was the lead global equity portfolio manager at Rezayat Investments and worked at Capital Group and Morgan Stanley, having started his career at KPMG.

Canaccord
Wealth, an asset manager, has strengthened its UK wealth
planning team, appointing four experienced wealth planners.
Ben Holland, Sarah Hendry and Chris Hallam join the London
office, with Stuart Pryor joining the Birmingham team.
The four bring a wealth expertise in financial planning, retirement planning, tax efficient investing, estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfer.
Their appointments will enhance Canaccord Wealth’s integrated approach to wealth management, bringing together investment management and financial planning to help clients make increasingly complex financial decisions with confidence, the firm said in a statement.
The team will work with investment managers and specialists throughout the business to provide tailored long term-advice, ensuring that clients receive “joined-up” solutions that reflect their personal ambitions, family circumstances and financial objectives, it continued.

Margetts
Birmingham-based Margetts, an independent fund
management and Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) business, has
appointed Stephanie Knight (pictured), as head of risk.
Knight has spent more than 15 years in second-line risk roles at organisations including Birmingham Bank, Succession Wealth and HSBC. She has experience of developing and embedding risk frameworks, reporting structures and risk culture business wide.
Knight will be responsible for leading the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across both Margetts Fund Management and MGTS (ACD Services), where she will develop and implement risk appetite, risk taxonomy, methodology and reporting; independent oversight and challenge of the risk profile; as well as supporting strong governance, enhanced controls and effective risk management in practice across the wider business.
