Tufton Investment Management
Tufton
Investment Management, a London-based maritime, natural
resources and energy-related investment manager, has appointed
Kael O’Sullivan as head of investor relations.
In this newly-created position, O’Sullivan will be joining the FCA-authorised alternative investment fund manager on 1 September. Previously, he was the head of investor relations for Taylor Maritime, an LSE-listed shipping company, and its former Nasdaq and JSE-listed subsidiary, Grindrod Shipping.
He brings more than 15 years' international experience across investor relations and capital markets, in particular shipping, mining, and energy sectors, the firm said in a statement. Prior to this, O'Sullivan was director of investor relations at Mining Indaba, a capital markets platform for the African mining sector, where he led investor targeting and capital introduction for mining and energy companies.
O’Sullivan will be supporting Tufton’s strategies, including Tufton Assets Limited, a London-listed closed-ended investment company that owns a fleet of 21 ocean-going ships. He will also support Tufton’s expansion into natural resources, following its appointment as investment manager of CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income from 14 September 2026. The former portfolio managers of CQS Natural Resources, Keith Watson and Robert Crayfourd, will be also joining Tufton.
“Kael adds to our team as we are expanding our existing strategies and adding more,” Nicolas Tirogalas, Tufton’s CEO, said. “With deep experience across investor relations and both maritime and natural resources, he joins us as we take on management of CQS Natural Resources and will help us engage effectively with institutional, wealth, and retail investors in the UK and globally.”

Rogers has more than 30 years of experience in the international fiduciary and private wealth sector. In her new role, she will oversee complex client relationships and work with ultra-high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and their advisors to deliver tailored fiduciary and family office solutions. Rogers has also joined the board of Equiom (Guernsey) Limited, supporting the business’s strategic direction, governance and continued growth.

Prior to joining Equiom, Carey held senior leadership positions within Guernsey’s fiduciary sector, as well as executive directorships within licensed fiduciary businesses, acting as both trustee and corporate director.
“Sharon and Allister bring an exceptional breadth of technical, leadership and client experience to our Guernsey team,” Marie McNeela, managing director, Guernsey and head of Channel Islands at Equiom, said. “Their appointments reflect our continued investment in Guernsey and our commitment to building on the business’s heritage, established client relationships and deep local expertise."
