Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Suntera Global, Arbuthnot Latham, CISI

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Suntera
Global, a multi-jurisdictional provider of fund, corporate
and private wealth services, has appointed John Hilson (pictured)
as director business development, to drive growth in the global
service provider’s Private Wealth Division.
Based in London, Hilson will serve UK clients, intermediaries and business introducers to boost Suntera’s private wealth offering. He will deliver tailored financial strategies and deepen client engagement, using his contacts, sector knowledge and track record in business development and growth, the firm said in a statement.
Hilson has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in private banking and wealth management.

London-headquartered Arbuthnot Latham,
the UK private bank, expanded its Real Estate Finance (REF)
team, with three new hires and two internal promotions.
This will strengthen the team’s capacity to deliver tailored solutions across the sector and reflects a blend of deep industry experience and internal progression, and advance the business’ ability to support clients with complex financing needs, the firm said in a statement.
The three new team members are:
Rashid Khan-Gandapur has over 30 years’ experience in residential and commercial property finance across the UK and Europe.
Richard Truett has more than 15 years of expertise in real estate and banking. His career includes senior roles at NatWest, spanning relationship management, real estate strategy, and proposition development.
Holly Smyth adds analytical expertise and sector insight, shaped by her background in economics, underwriting, and portfolio management. Her recent experience at Hampshire Trust Bank, where she specialised in real estate finance, will enhance the team’s ability to support clients.
Additionally, Carla Dujon and Nayan Yadav have been promoted within the REF team.

has appointed Rosie Glazebrook, Susan Daniel MCSI and Nicholas
(Nick) Garnish, Chartered MCSI to join the board.
Glazebrook (pictured below) is a senior independent director at Make UK, where she also chairs the nominations and remuneration committee. Her background as an independent chair and non-executive director has enabled her to support organisations to strengthen their governance, develop partnerships and leverage their impact internationally, the organisation said. She is also experienced at driving trade and investment initiatives with private sector and government partners.
Rosie Glazebrook
Glazebrook recently joined the advisory board of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, where she served as chief executive until June 2025, driving trade and investment initiatives with private sector and government partners, including the City of London and professional bodies. Previous non-executive director board positions include the Food Standards Agency, General Optical Council, Book Aid International and health and regulatory organisations, following a career in commercial roles in publishing and media.
Daniel (pictured below) has over 37 years of professional experience working in leadership positions in the UK, Oman and the UAE. Her expertise includes governance, risk management, internal audit and compliance.
Susan Daniel
Daniel founded Aaquilae Consulting, of which she is also CEO. Prior to this, she was chief risk officer for ADQ (Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company) and before that, chief risk and assurance officer for Oman Investment Authority (OIA), where she led risk frameworks across sovereign wealth funds and portfolio companies. Daniel also played a role in OIA’s integration of state-owned enterprises and engagement with the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds.
Daniel was also one of the advisory partners at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), leading advisory projects for the Oman government and other clients in the Middle East and North Africa region. As a partner of PwC, she was one of the founding members of the current Gulf Corporation Council Board Directors Institute and led the topic on board committees, internal audit and risk management. Daniel is also active in the event space, attending Q&A sessions on topics relating to risk management, governance, compliance, internal audit and fraud risks.
Garnish (pictured below) is the head of Treasury for Europe, Asia and Australia at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in London. He has held several senior City appointments over the course of his career. Garnish was previously the global COO for collateral and liquidity management at LCH Clearnet and managing director, treasurer and global head of foreign exchange at Jefferies. He was the master of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers up until mid-October 2025.

He is a chartered member of the CISI, a fellow and chartered manager of the Chartered Management Institute, and a court member of the Worshipful Company of Bakers.
