Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – SimCorp, Alpha FMC

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

SimCorp
SimCorp, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, has appointed Neslihan Yegul as senior managing director to support the company’s pipeline of clients in the UK and Northern Europe, effective 20 April. Based in London, she will report to Oliver Johnson, chief revenue officer.

Yegul’s experience within financial technology will help deepen SimCorp’s client relationships in the UK and Northern Europe, the firm said in a statement. She has more than two decades’ experience in scaling global SaaS businesses, driving digital transformation and accelerating revenue growth in capital markets.

Most recently, Yegul was at S&P Global (previously IHS Markit and Markit), where she held a series of positions with progressive responsibility: vice president, head of enterprise data management, and before that, she was VP and head of commercial strategy in EMEA, as well as executive director and head of client management. Prior to joining S&P Global, Yegul served in product and commercial leadership roles at Misys (now Finastra), Wallstreet Systems, She began her career in financial services consulting with Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini. She has a master of science from the University of Vienna.

“We’re delighted to welcome Neslihan to SimCorp, as her experience will help us develop closer relationships with our clients,” said Johnson. “This region has experienced significant growth since 2020, and meeting the needs of our clients is absolutely critical.”

Alpha FMC
Alpha FMC, a financial services consultancy, has brought back Zoe Kohli as senior partner and global partner executive in its asset and wealth management practice.

Kohli previously worked from September 2019 to January 2021 at Alpha, based in Zurich. Most recently, she spent seven months at Grant Thornton Ireland, and before that, she was at SimCorp for just over five years, located in Zurich. In her latest role, Kohli will define, drive and manage Alpha’s relationship with SimCorp.

“With the appointment of Zoe, the acquisition of JPSB, and investment in the wider Alpha team, we are poised for accelerated growth. We look forward to continuing to assist both new and existing clients in navigating and delivering their evolve-and-transform priorities using the SimCorp platform,” Joe Morant, global head of asset and wealth management, said. (He referred to Alpha's announcement last week that it has acquired JPSB Group, a specialist SimCorp-focused technology consulting and implementation firm.)

Founded in 2003, Alpha has more than 1,540 consultants across North America, the UK, Europe, MENA and APAC. Alpha has been supported by investment partner Bridgepoint since 2024.
