Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Schroders Personal Wealth

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management roles in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.

This week Schroders Personal Wealth appointed Dominic Sheridan as CEO of its Authorised Corporate Director business, subject to regulatory approval.

Sheridan will be responsible for leading and developing the ACD, launched in December 2019, the firm said in a statement.

The ACD is responsible for the day-to-day governance of the Schroders Personal Wealth funds, ensuring that they are managed in line with their objectives, strategy and principles.

He is joining from Omnis Investments, where, as CEO, he established an asset management company with more than £10 billion ($11.9 billion) assets under management and a discretionary fund management business.

With over 25 years of wealth and investment industry experience, he has extensive fund governance, portfolio management, investment operations and change management expertise.  Prior to his role at Omnis, he served in senior roles at PineBridge Investment Management, F&C Asset Management and Royal & Sun Alliance Asset Management, the firm continued.

Welcoming him to the firm, Mark Duckworth, chief executive officer at Schroders Personal Wealth said: “Our ACD represents an important part of our business and the continued development of this remains one of our key priorities.”

“Dominic will play a fundamental part in leading and developing our ACD. He has a strong track record in fund governance and investment operations, and has the skillset to not only lead, but run and build our ACD business,” he continued.

Sheridan added: “I’m delighted to be joining SPW at such an exciting time and look forward to leading the ACD business through its next stage of growth and development.”
