The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Quilter Investors
Quilter Investors, the multi-asset investment arm of Quilter, has expanded its manager research team with two new hires.

Tahia Tahmin is joining as a manager research analyst to cover global equity funds. Prior to joining Quilter Investors, Tahmin was a fund analyst at FE Fundinfo, responsible for the research and ideas generation of emerging markets and Asia Pacific equity funds. She has also worked in investment analysis for atomos wealth where she helped manage model portfolios.

James Sanderson, who is also joining as a manager research analyst, will be responsible for covering government bond, strategic bond and high yield strategies. Sanderson spent three years at Rathbones (formerly Investec W&I), where he covered a broad range of fixed income strategies, from money markets to securitised credit. He also has experience as an investment analyst at a discretionary fund manager, focusing on fund research and portfolio management.

Tahmin and Sanderson will report to Kristian Cassar, head of manager research at Quilter Investors. They will also be responsible for producing ideas for consideration within Quilter Investors’ range of multi-asset portfolios, including the WealthSelect Managed Portfolio Service and the Cirilium range of portfolios.

Winckworth Sherwood
Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has appointed private wealth and tax partner Arcangelo D’Apolito (pictured below). A dual-qualified English and Italian lawyer, D’Apolito is joining Winckworth Sherwood from the UK practice of Italian law firm, Macchi di Cellere Gangemi.

Arcangelo D’Apolito

D’Apolito has more than 20 years’ experience in international tax, trusts and wealth structuring, and helping clients with relocating to and from the UK. His diverse client base includes business owners, investors, senior financial executives, trustees, wealth managers and family offices.

A full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the International Bar Association (IBA), D’Apolito has previously worked for PwC and KPMG on UK-Italian tax matters. He is a regular speaker at international tax conferences and a contributor to the media.

“Arcangelo brings over 20 years of experience from top-tier firms in London and Milan – a rarity to find skillset and valuable cross-border expertise recognised by so many prominent private capital market players,” Richard Tinham, managing partner, Winckworth Sherwood, said.

Langham Hall
London-based Langham Hall, a global fund administrator, has appointed Richard James (pictured below) as head of Europe alongside his role as head of UK.

Richard James

James, who joined Langham Hall in April 2024 has investment management client-side experience, most recently as global CFO at Savills Investment Management. In addition, the firm has appointed Alan O’Neill as global chief of staff. In this newly-created role, O’Neill will build on and scale Langham Hall’s approach to developing and progressing people, including its apprenticeship model, alongside the operational systems and technology that support high-quality client service. O’Neill has institutional knowledge built over 15 years at Langham Hall. His previous role was working in the managing partner’s office, where he led initiatives across systems, efficiency and talent development.

Langham Hall has also made 143 promotions globally in 2026, reflecting continued investment in expertise and the development of teams across Europe, the US and Asia.
