Progeny Group
UK-headquartered Progeny Group has appointed David Miller (pictured) as group chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 September 2026. He will be responsible for finance, tax and treasury throughout the group, as well as serving on Progeny's executive committee.

Miller brings more than 20 years of financial services experience spanning consumer finance, banking and payments. Previously, he served as group CFO for seven years at Car Finance 247, carrying out a broad leadership remit which covered finance and commercial functions. Prior to this, he was financial director at The Co-operative Bank, where he played a central role in delivering the bank's £700 million recapitalisation and maintaining regulatory relationships. Earlier in his career, Miller held senior finance positions at Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group and VocaLink.

"He brings deep financial services experience, strong leadership credentials and a proven track record of helping businesses navigate periods of growth and transformation,” Tom Wood, group CEO of Progeny, said. “David's expertise will be invaluable as we continue to invest in our people, strengthen our capabilities and deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients."

Founded in 2016, Progeny says it provides “independent advisory excellence” across Chartered Financial Planning, tax, legal and asset management under one integrated model.
