Pacific Asset Management
London-based Pacific Asset
Management has appointed Scott Spencer (pictured) as
investment director in the multi-asset team, with immediate
effect. Spencer will be a member of the investment committee for
the fast-growing Pacific MPS portfolios; he will be dealing
with manager research and income strategies, as well as
serving as a portfolio manager for Pacific's innovative IPX
solutions for financial advisors. He reports to Will Bartleet,
CIO, Pacific Asset Management.
Previously, Spencer was an investment director overseeing the managed portfolio service and advisory portfolio service at Titan Square Mile. He was a member of the asset allocation committee and worked with the broader analyst team to oversee fund selection within portfolios. Prior to this he was an investment manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and was a senior investment manager at Aberdeen Asset Management. Spencer has also had manager research roles as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse and as head of investment strategy for Berkeley Fund Managers.
“Scott's experience across portfolio construction, asset allocation and adviser solutions makes him an excellent addition to the team. His appointment further strengthens our ability to support advisors as we continue to grow our MPS and IPX solutions business," Bartleet said.
