European equity investment specialists, Viewforth Investment
Partners has joined London-based Pacific Asset
Management.
Viewforth Investment Partners is a dedicated European equity boutique, founded in 2018 by Richard Black. It manages a highly-concentrated portfolio of between eight and 12 European stocks.
Black will be joined at Pacific by partners Edward Wotherspoon and James Ferguson (pictured below). All will become partners in Pacific’s new European equities division.

As part of the agreement, Pacific will become the investment manager of Viewforth’s existing Cayman fund, which will be renamed to reference the Pacific Viewforth European Equity strategy. Black, who has been managing this strategy since 2014, has generated gross outperformance of 3.9 per cent annually versus the STOXX Europe 600 Index. The Pacific Viewforth European Equity strategy – primarily aimed at institutional investors – and Pacific aim to build on its momentum in the US and other markets, led by Pacific’s head of US Institutional Sales, Sebastian Stewart.
The strategy will continue to be managed by Black and the team, with the same process and philosophy, while Pacific will provide the operational infrastructure, marketing, distribution and technology to allow the investment team to focus on generating returns for investors.

UK, Midlands-based BRI Wealth
Management has appointed Toni Meadows as head of investments.
He will also join the management board, helping to oversee
day-to-day operations and drive the firm’s growth strategy.
Meadows, who has more than 30 years of “award-winning” investment industry experience, has served as chief investment officer at Omnis Investments, most recently at The Private Office, and was head of investment services at Towry during a significant period of growth, the firm said in a statement.
“We’re delighted to welcome Toni to BRI, his appointment represents a significant development for the firm. With extensive experience as CIO at several major financial planning-led organisations, he brings valuable insight and leadership at a time when BRI is experiencing record levels of interest in our offering,” Dan Boardman-Weston, chief executive at BRI Wealth Management, said.
