Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Odyssean Capital, Boodle Hatfield, IIMI

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Odyssean Capital
London-based Odyssean Capital
has appointed Lindsay Dibden (pictured) as chair, subject to
approval by the Financial Conduct Authority. He replaces Ian
Armitage who had been the non-executive chairman since September
2017.
Dibden sits on the Odyssean Capital advisor panel as a healthcare sector specialist. He spent 23 years in private equity investment and was a founding partner of HgCapital, establishing its healthcare practice in 1996, which he led for 16 years. During his career, Lindsay was involved in more than 30 transactions.
He is a co-founder of 24Haymarket, a business engaged in active investment in early-stage businesses. In addition, he acts as an advisor to Atlas Health Capital, EVOCO AG and Gyrus Capital as well as actively managing a diverse portfolio of other investments.
“I know him [Dibden] to be a consummate, experienced, and successful investment professional. He knows how to work with talented and independently minded people and how to bring out the best in teams.” Armitage said. “With his career in direct investing in illiquid companies, he naturally understands the power of aligning interests, having skin in the game and the benefits this approach delivers to Odyssean’s clients.”
Stuart Widdowson, managing partner at Odyssean Capital, added: “Since joining in September 2017, his [Armitage’s] leadership, perspective, and steady guidance have played an important role in establishing and shaping the firm’s culture, development, and success through many challenging times. It has been a privilege to work alongside him, and his influence leaves a lasting mark on the business.”
Odyssean Capital LLP – a joint venture between Stuart Widdowson and Harwood Capital Management – acts as portfolio manager to Odyssean Investment Trust PLC. Odyssean Capital LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
