Mattioli Woods
Mattioli Woods,, a UK wealth management and employee benefits firm, has appointed Simon Taylor as managing director for investment product solutions and platforms.

Taylor is a financial services executive with more than 30 years in leadership roles, building, scaling and governing complex investment propositions and platforms within regulated environments. In his new role, he will lead development of the firm’s investment product capabilities and platform strategy, supporting the evolution of the group’s centralised investment proposition and expanding the range of investment solutions available to advisors and clients.

Most recently he was managing director at Succession Advisory Services, having previously served as platform and investment director. Taylor led the development and rollout of Succession’s in-house investment platform, which became a core part of the firm’s proposition, growing to more than £5 billion ($6.7 billion) in assets and supporting over 20,000 clients.

Taylor has served in senior leadership roles, spanning investment governance, platform strategy, technology oversight, regulatory change and commercial performance.

“Simon brings a rare combination of strategic vision and operational expertise,” Peter Mann, CEO of Mattioli Woods, said. “His experience across investment governance, platform development and proposition design will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and scale our investment capabilities. His leadership will play an important role in supporting our advisors and delivering strong outcomes for clients.”
