Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – MASECO Private Wealth, Tower Peak Partners, Others

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

MASECO Private Wealth
MASECO Private Wealth - which specialises in serving clients with links to the US - has promoted Adrian Edwards (pictured) to partner.

Edwards joined MASECO in 2023 as chief operating officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across the financial services industry. Since joining the firm, he has played a pivotal role in advancing MASECO’s operational strategy, driving innovation, and enhancing the client experience across all areas of the business, the firm said in a statement.

“Adrian has been instrumental in driving progress across the business,” Josh Matthews, co-founder and partner at MASECO, said. “His experience and commitment to excellence make him a natural fit for the partnership, and we’re excited to see the continued value he will bring.”

London-headquartered MASECO Private Wealth provides independent wealth management services to international high net worth individuals, families, and institutions primarily where a US planning need exists.

Tower Peak Partners
London-headquartered Tower Peak Partners has appointed Monika Dangova as head of sustainability.

Based in London, Dangova will be responsible for overseeing sustainability integration across Tower Peak’s investment portfolios, including ESG data management, and driving the firm’s environmental and social impact initiatives.

Prior to joining Tower Peak, Dangova served as sustainable finance lead in KPMG International’s Global Decarbonisation Hub, where she designed a sustainable investing framework for global private capital managers. The framework enabled the launch of climate and energy transition SFDR Article 8 and 9 funds and supported the deployment of $50 billion in capital. It was later showcased as a COP28 case study. At KPMG, she also led global pursuits in structured financing for net-zero transition and supported the World Economic Forum in designing public-private vehicles to attract private capital into early coal retirement. Before KPMG, Dangova was head of ESG at Plastic Energy, a pioneer in chemical recycling technology addressing plastic waste pollution.

“We are delighted to continue the momentum generated by last year’s launch of Tower Peak with the appointment of Monika as head of sustainability, a role central to Tower Peak’s mission to drive sustainable investments that enable industrial transition and positive change,” Anthony Catachanas CEO, said. “Monika brings with her an accomplished track record across ESG and sustainability, which will be instrumental in guiding our team as we work together to identify and capitalise on opportunities that align with our values and deliver favourable outcomes for our investors."

Launched in June 2024, Tower Peak is a global private market investment firm with offices in London, New York and Rio de Janeiro. The firm specialises in investments into industries with high barriers to entry, that are subject to profound structural changes.

Shackleton Advisers
Shackleton Advisers Limited has appointed Marcus Bolitho and Will Gold as chief marketing officer and head of communications respectively, effective 1 October.

Prior to their most recent positions at global equities boutique Goodhart Partners LLP, in May 2024 Bolitho and Gold co-founded Bold Partners, a specialist marketing consultancy; Shackleton rapidly became one of their most significant clients. They both have considerable financial services experience, with previous roles including global head of marketing and head of investment marketing, respectively, at Jupiter Asset Management and Old Mutual Global Investors/Merian Global Investors.

“Having known Marcus and Will professionally since 2008, I have seen and admired first-hand the quality of their work over many years. They will play an instrumental role in supporting our clients and advisors, as we make our distinctive financial planning proposition available to people across Britain,” Shackleton CEO Paul Feeney said. “They were instrumental in supporting us on a consultancy basis with the successful launch of the Shackleton brand and I am delighted, therefore, that we have been able to attract them on a permanent basis, bringing their expertise, skill, energy and drive into the Shackleton team.”

Shackleton says that it brings together some of the UK’s most respected and well-established financial advice firms under one “forward-thinking group".

Nordea Asset Management
Nordea Asset Management has hired Lucette Yvernault and Marton Huebler.

Yvernault will be joining as head of the systematic fixed income team, while Huebler will join the team as senior portfolio manager. Their addition represents a significant step in strengthening Nordea’s capabilities in systematic and risk-controlled active fixed income investments, while still using its existing data-driven research approach in multi assets, the firm said in a statement.

Yvernault was previously with Fidelity International, where she led the development of a multi-billion-euro franchise as head of systematic fixed income, focused on actively managed, low-tracking-error fixed income solutions and customised mandates. She has more than two decades of experience in designing global fixed income portfolios.

Huebler, previously a portfolio manager at Fidelity International, has extensive expertise in quantitative fixed income investing. He has served in several senior roles, including head of quantitative fixed income research, and has a strong track record in managing fixed income portfolios and systematic strategies.
