Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – LGT WM, Rothschild & Co, BRI WM

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
LGT Wealth Management
UK-based LGT Wealth
Management has appointed Richard Brown (pictured) as a wealth
manager in its Leeds office.
Brown has almost four decades of experience in private banking and wealth management, most recently as a director at Union Bancaire Privée and formerly at Kleinwort Hambros, where he led the Yorkshire office and served as a senior private banker. Prior to this, he served in wealth management and private banking roles at Coutts and Lloyds Bank Private Banking, advising high net worth individuals on their banking and investment needs.
At LGT, Brown will be advising clients across Yorkshire, working closely with colleagues to deliver tailored investment and wealth planning services while supporting the continued growth of the firm’s northern client base. The appointment forms part of LGT Wealth Management’s continued investment in its regional teams, alongside the recent addition of trainee wealth manager in Leeds, Keane Denby, as the firm builds the next generation of talent to support its long-term regional growth.
“As we continue to focus on regional expansion, bringing in highly experienced advisors like Richard is vital to our growth plans and strengthening our proposition,” Elliott O’Brien, head of Leeds at LGT Wealth Management, said.
LGT Wealth Management has expanded its regional footprint in recent years, investing in both client-facing and operational teams to ensure clients can access high-quality advice locally. The Leeds office, alongside the firm’s Manchester office, serves as a key hub within this strategy, supporting clients across Yorkshire and the North of England.
Rothschild & Co
Rothschild
& Co has appointed Samantha Beach (pictured below) as a
director and client advisor in its UK Wealth Management business
based in Manchester, to strengthen its regional presence.
Samantha Beach
Beach joins from Barclays Private Bank, where she spent more than a decade advising individuals, founders and families with substantial wealth across the North of England, developing long-standing relationships with clients and delivering tailored investment advice. She brings more than 20 years of wealth management and private banking experience, having previously held senior client-facing posts at Coutts & Co. Beach’s appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to providing bespoke wealth management services to clients and deepening strong local connections beyond London, combining local insight with global expertise, it said in a statement. Rothschild & Co’s UK Regional Wealth Management presence was initially founded more than a decade ago in Manchester by Peter Hindle; it now totals more than 20 people.
In addition to the wider professional community, Rothschild & Co Wealth Management works with its Global Advisory and Arrowpoint divisions providing a joined up, advisory approach covering both business and personal financial affairs. Global Advisory and Arrowpoint colleagues guide business owners and shareholders through the sale of their companies, with the wealth management team advising clients on the best ways of protecting and growing the proceeds, through long-term investment and wealth planning strategies.
"We are delighted to welcome Samantha to our team in Manchester. She is an exceptionally experienced advisor with deep connections across the North. Her client-first approach, expertise and commitment to building long-term trusted relationships make her an excellent addition to the team,” Peter Hindle, UK head of client teams, Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, said. Samantha’s appointment underlines our intention to continue to expand our regional footprint, enhancing our presence and capabilities across the UK to deliver exceptional advice to clients wherever they are based."
Rothschild & Co said it invested significantly in its UK Wealth Management business in recent years, resulting in assets under management almost doubling over the last six years. The business operates from offices in Birmingham, Guernsey, Leeds, London and Manchester.
BRI Wealth Management
Midlands-based BRI Wealth
Management has appointed Paul Stockton, as a non-executive
director, subject to the completion of all regulatory and
governance formalities.
Stockton served as chief executive of Rathbones Group Plc from 2019 to 2025, having previously served as group finance director and managing director of its investment management business. A chartered accountant who qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992, Stockton has more than three decades of experience across wealth management, investment management and financial services. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance positions at Old Mutual Plc, Gerrard Ltd, Euroclear and Phoenix Group Plc. Stockton has also served on several industry bodies and boards, including the FCA Practitioner Panel and the Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association (PIMFA).
The appointment represents a significant milestone in BRI's strategy as the firm continues to grow its regional presence both organically and through acquisitions, the firm said in a statement. BRI manages over £800 million ($1.077 billion) in client assets.
"Paul is one of the most respected figures in UK wealth management and brings exactly the kind of experience we are keen to have around the board table as BRI enters its next stage of development,” Dan Boardman-Weston, chief executive of BRI Wealth Management, said. “His strategic insight, industry knowledge, and experience of leading a major wealth management business will be hugely valuable as we continue to grow. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with Paul and very much look forward to his future contribution.”
