Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Julius Baer, Hanover, Huddleston Jones

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Julius Baer
Zurich-headquartered Julius Baer has
appointed Eric Rosset (pictured) as head of its Verbier branch,
effective 1 January 2026. Rosset has succeeded Florian Michellod,
who led the branch for the past twelve years. Michellod will
transition into a client advisory role ahead of his planned
retirement in mid-2027.
Rosset – a qualified expert in finance and investment – brings in-depth expertise gained from more than two decades of working in wealth management. He joined the Julius Baer Verbier branch in 2015 as senior relationship manager, where he significantly contributed to expanding the branch’s client base and strengthening regional relationships, the firm said in a statement. Prior to that, he held various positions in wealth management at Swiss financial institutions, including UBS.
“Florian Michellod has played a decisive role in successfully
positioning Julius Baer in Verbier over the past twelve years. We
would like to thank him for his leadership and dedication, and
look forward to continuing to work with him in the coming
months,” Alain Krüger, co-head Switzerland, Julius Baer, said.
“In Eric Rosset, we have found an excellent successor, promoted
from within our team in Verbier. We are convinced that his proven
expertise, extensive experience, and local network will be of
great value in further strengthening our position in the region
and supporting our local clients in achieving their financial
objectives.”
Hanover, Huddleston Jones
Hanover, the executive
search group, has named Danny Jones (pictured below) as its new
chief executive as his eponymous firm, Huddleston Jones,
joins the Hanover Search Group.

Based in the
Dubai International Financial Centre (pictured), Jones will
lead Hanover’s regional platform, driving services across
financial services in the GCC and wider Middle East-Asia
corridors.
Jones, one of the co-founders of executive search firm Huddleston
Jones, said in his LinkedIn page that the business has
joined the Hanover Search Group as “part of the next phase of our
journey”. He built the Huddleston Jones firm 13 years ago
alongside Arran Huddleston.
Hanover also announced Jones’ move on its its corporate LinkedIn
page.
The group CEO of Hanover is James Emmett.
Such a move comes at a time when the GCC wealth management,
private banking and wider financial industry has expanded rapidly
in recent years, attracting local and international wealth.
