Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Investor Pointe, Walkers, M&G

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Investor Pointe
Investor
Pointe, a global technology and services
business powering the operations of private markets' firms,
has appointed Manfredi Bargioni (pictured) as chief client
officer to lead Investor Pointe's client success and services
teams. Based in London, he will oversee clients globally.
A co-founder of Untap, which is now part of Investor Pointe, Bargioni brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services and business development, including senior leadership roles at Citigroup and UBS, and serving as COO of Hydra Management. His teams help private markets investment managers, wealth managers, advisors, and fund administrators realise the full value of their technology, operations, and data, the firm said in a statement.
Drawing on Bargioni's experience across firms of varying sizes, technology demands, and data maturity, the expanded function provides clients with local expertise supported by a multi-jurisdictional technology platform. The regional leaders of the function are Harriet Barlow and Olivia Gibson in EMEA, Claudia Madriaga in South America, Max Fenn in APAC, and Jay Shows in North America. Their teams help clients with a full range of services spanning the firm’s solutions, with specialists in account management, investor servicing, and implementation.
“Client success has been a key differentiator for us from the start, and this new role reflects that. Manfredi’s extensive experience, closely aligned with how private markets firms actually operate, provides the perspective we need to achieve positive client outcomes, and that’s why he’s the right person for the job as we grow,” Scott Hofmann, Investor Pointe CEO, said.
Walkers
Walkers, an
international legal and professional services firm, has appointed
Muriel Marseille (pictured below) as chief compliance officer.
Muriel Marseille
Marseille brings more than 25 years of experience across the legal and professional services sectors, including over 18 years in senior risk and governance leadership roles. She is well-versed in helping international law firms meet shifting regulatory expectations while maintaining the confidence of clients, partners and regulators, the firm said in a statement.
Previously, she served as chief risk officer at Ashurst Perkins Coie, leading several key functions to strengthen the firm's approach to risk management and organisational resilience across its global operations.
Marseille will work with the leadership team to enhance the firm’s global governance framework.
Ingrid Pierce, global managing partner at Walkers, said that Marseille “brings exceptional experience in risk and governance, and her perspective will be a real asset to the firm as we continue to deliver the high standards our clients expect.'
Marseille succeeds Tui Iti, who is moving to Walkers Professional Services (WPS), where he will support the business' next phase of growth following completion of the co-investment with Vitruvian Partners. Angela Robertson will continue in her role as general counsel and chief risk officer for the law firm.
M&G
Infracapital, M&G’s infrastructure
private equity investment arm within its £81 billion Private
Markets division, has appointed John Bruen (pictured below) to
lead the business. He will be joining on 1 September,
reporting to Emmanuel Deblanc, chief investment officer, private
markets at M&G Investments.
John Bruen
Bruen has more than 25 years’ experience of international infrastructure investment. He joins from HIG Capital where, as managing director and partner, he helped establish the firm's infrastructure platform and raised its inaugural $1.3 billion value-add infrastructure fund. Bruen has experience of investing in and managing portfolio companies in the infrastructure industry from his previous stints at Macquarie Asset Management and Ferrovial Airports.
He will succeed Martin Lennon, who is retiring after more than 36 years in the industry. Since co-founding Infracapital in 2001, he led its growth into one of Europe's major mid-market infrastructure investors.
“John is a highly respected leader in the infrastructure industry with an outstanding record of investing in and growing businesses,” Deblanc said. “His combination of investment and leadership experience, along with deep industry relationships, makes him exceptionally well positioned to lead Infracapital through its next phase of growth as demand for investment in essential infrastructure continues to grow across Europe."
Deblanc also thanked Lennon for his “remarkable contribution to our business over the last 28 years,” adding that he would remain during the leadership transition to ensure a seamless handover.
