FundBank has appointed David Morrissey (pictured) as country head, Ireland for its new Dublin operation.

A funds industry expert, Morrissey has more than 30 years' experience working within financial services, including senior leadership roles at global firms such as SEI Investments and Waystone. Morrissey brings expertise in product development and driving business growth in several  jurisdictions, including Ireland and Luxembourg. 

Morrissey will lead the FundBank (Europe) SA Ireland team in Dublin, driving growth and providing strategic direction for the bank. He will also play a pivotal role in operational leadership and business development, leading all aspects of client service delivery across many product lines for FundBank's Ireland-based clients.

Opening the Dublin, Ireland location underscores FundBank's commitment to its European client base, it said. It has already launched banking operations in Luxembourg earlier this year. FundBank said it is strategically placed to provide its European clients with high levels of customer service and banking products.
