Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Franklin Templeton, Nordea, Others

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in wealth management for the UK, rest of Europe, Middle East, and select international jurisdictions.
Franklin Templeton
California-headquartered investment manager Franklin Templeton
has appointed Deji Ijaiya-Harvey as business development manager,
reporting to Harry Reeves, head of UK wholesale. Ijaiya-Harvey
will focus on supporting clients across the wholesale channel in
London and surrounding areas, the firm said in a statement.
Bringing over a decade of asset management experience,
Ijaiya-Harvey has spent the past six years in distribution roles.
He joins from Mirabaud Asset Management, having previously held
positions at River and Mercantile Asset Management, Jupiter Asset
Management, and Janus Henderson.
In addition, Noah Ahwe has been promoted to business development manager, focused on supporting regional clients outside London, including the Southwest, Midlands, and North, the firm continued. Ahwe joined Franklin Templeton in 2023 and has played a key role in supporting Wholesale clients. Prior to this, he was at Panamoure a specialist consulting firm serving private equity portfolio companies.

with clients seeking deeper engagement and strategic
partnerships,” Reeves said. “These newly-created roles reflect
our commitment to expanding client coverage to deliver deeper,
more strategic client relationships, supported by an evolved team
structure.”
Nordea Asset Management
Nordea
Asset Management has strengthened its data-driven investment
capabilities with two hires: Lucette Yvernault and Marton
Huebler – both based in London – are joining the firm’s Multi
Assets unit which manages more than €150 billion ($173.9
billion).
Yvernault will join as head of the Systematic Fixed Income team,
while Huebler will join as senior portfolio manager. Yvernault is
joining from Fidelity International, where she led the
development of a multi-billion-euro franchise as head of
systematic fixed income, focusing on actively managed,
low-tracking-error fixed income solutions and customised
mandates.
Huebler, previously a portfolio manager at Fidelity
International, is experienced in quantitative fixed income
investing. He has held several senior positions, including head
of quantitative fixed income research, and has managed fixed
income portfolios and systematic strategies.
Yvernault will report to Asbjørn Trolle Hansen, head of multi
assets at NAM. This publication has sought clarification on who
Huebler reports to, and may update in due course.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management

BlueBay Asset Management has appointed Radu Gheorghiu as
senior corporate analyst to join the emerging market debt team,
reporting to Anthony Kettle, senior portfolio manager, emerging
markets.
He will be responsible for leading a team of 27 individuals covering financial institutions, the firm said in a statement.
Gheorghiu has more than a decade of financial services experience, most recently as global emerging market financials analyst at Global Evolution Asset Management A/S where he led the financial institutions coverage, serving banks, insurance companies and non-bank financial institutions. Prior to this, he worked at Standard Chartered Bank; he started his career at Fitch Ratings covering financial institutions in Turkey and emerging European markets.
“Radu’s deep experience and expertise further strengthens our emerging market fixed income offering...and he will be an important addition to the team as we continue to seek to deliver the best outcomes for our clients,” Polina Kurdyavko, head of BlueBay Emerging Markets and senior portfolio manager said.
