Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – DWS, Guinness Global Investors, Walkers

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

DWS has appointed Ben
Taylor (main picture) as the head of real estate, Australia, as
well as heading the Australian transactions’ function. Based
in the Sydney headquarters, he will report to Matthias
Naumann, head of real estate, Asia-Pacific.
Taylor has nearly two decades of investment and portfolio management experience. His expertise across multiple sectors – particularly in the residential sectors – fits with DWS’s focus on implementing its “Essential Living” residential investment strategy in Australia, the firm said.
Joining from The Living Company (previously Scape), where he served as fund manager, Taylor has previously served in senior roles in Sydney at Nuveen (as director of housing) and AXA Investment Managers.

Earlier in his career, he served in senior global bond portfolio management roles at Scottish Widows and Mellon and was part of the Global Fixed Income team at HSBC.
Guinness expects to launch funds with Craig Veysey as investment manager by the end of 2026.
