Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Coutts, Carmignac, Cazenove Capital

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Coutts
Coutts has
appointed Sarah Dow (pictured) to lead the digital assets
strategy and execution for its Private Banking & Wealth
Management (PBWM) business.
Dow will lead development and delivery of Coutts digital assets strategy, working across product areas including Everyday Banking, Investments and Lending. She will lead Coutts' work to support client understanding, develop digital asset propositions, and build internal expertise, working with technology teams. “As digital finance continues to evolve, clients are increasingly looking for clarity, confidence and trusted guidance,” Dow said.
The role reflects both increasing client demand and a recognition that the future of financial services will require a more seamless interaction between traditional and digital finance, the bank said in a statement.
“As clients’ needs continue to evolve, we’re strengthening our focus on digital assets at Coutts,” Alison Graham, executive director, Client Goal Lead, Coutts, said. “This role reflects how quickly this space is developing and our ambition to respond with clarity and confidence. Sarah will play an important role in shaping how we engage with digital assets as part of our broader client offering.”
Carmignac
Paris-based asset manager Carmignac has appointed
Frederic Jeanmaire (pictured below), a European equity fund
manager, to join its London-based investment team, effective 3
August 2026.

Jeanmaire will co-manage the Carmignac Portfolio Grande Europe and FP Carmignac European Leaders strategies alongside Mark Denham. He will also co-manage the Carmignac Portfolio Patrimoine Europe strategy alongside Jacques Hirsch. The investment team is preparing to launch a new European equity fund later this year.
Jeanmaire, who has 20 years of experience in European equity investing, began his career as an equity research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London after graduating from HEC Paris. He is also is a CFA charterholder. He is joining from Columbia Threadneedle, where he has worked since 2011. During his time there, Jeanmaire managed a number of European equity funds with combined assets under management of €3.9 billion ($4.51 billion). This included a pan-European equity fund, consistently rated five stars by Morningstar, which he managed for 12 years.
“Frederic’s strong track record, high-conviction approach to stock picking and focus on client outcomes make him an excellent fit as we further consolidate our position as Europe’s leading independent active asset manager,” Edouard Carmignac said.
Jeanmaire’s appointment follows a series of senior equity specialist hires into the investment team, including Kristofer Barrett and Naomi Waistell (as reported here), as the firm continues to reinforce its ranks with high-conviction active managers.
Cazenove Capital
Cazenove
Capital, a provider of personalised wealth management
services to ultra-high net worth and HNW clients, family
offices, has appointed Jamie Stafford as business development
director for the South of England. He will report to Simon
Cooper, portfolio director and head of Discretionary Fund
Management (DFM).
Stafford will drive business development across the South of England, building and strengthening relationships with intermediary partners and professional connections. He will work with colleagues at Cazenove Capital and the wider Schroders Group to support advisors and clients, and further the development of Cazenove Capital’s discretionary fund management (DFM) offering.
Previously, Stafford was at Liontrust Asset Management, where he was most recently strategic partners relationship manager, covering the firm’s largest intermediary relationships. Prior to this, he worked at Architas and AXA UK. Staffordh olds an MBA from Imperial Business School and a BSc in international/global studies from the University of Virginia. He also holds professional qualifications from the CFA Institute Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Cazenove Capital is a subsidiary of Schroders. (Schroders is in the process of being acquired by US-based Nuveen.)
