The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes among wealth management and related organisations in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and select international locations.

UK wealth manager Brooks Macdonald
has just bolstered its presence in Scotland with the appointment
of three senior investment experts. Stephen Martin, Alan Riddell,
and Vicky Drysdale will be senior investment managers and heads
of advisor solutions, Scotland, respectively, starting in
July.
They bring more than 25 years of experience in investment
management, the firm said in a statement. Most recently, Martin
was head of office and divisional director for RBC Brewin Dolphin
in Glasgow acting for private clients, trusts, and charities.
Riddell, who serves a variety of clients including
individuals/families, trusts, pension funds and charities on a
discretionary basis, was formerly a divisional director at
Brewin Dolphin. Drysdale also joins from RBC Brewin Dolphin where
she led the intermediary team and was a divisional director.
DFSA, Dubai
The Dubai Financial Services Authority, which is the regulator of
the
Dubai International Financial Centre, has appointed Alan
Linning (pictured) as managing director, enforcement, effective
28 July 2025.

With more than three decades’ experience in the field of law and
regulation, Linning will head up DFSA’s enforcement division.
Most recently, Linning was a partner at Mayer Brown,
an international law firm in Hong Kong. He will
succeed Patrick Meaney, who has led the division for more than
seven years.
