Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Suntera Global, Broadridge, Others

The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in the UK, Europe, Middle East and other selection international jurisdictions for wealth management.

Suntera Global
Suntera Global has appointed Chad Phillips (main photo) as business development director, tasked with concentrating on Africa-based high net worth and ultra-HNW families.

Phillips will be based in the firm’s Jersey office, it said in a statement this week. He will support succession planning, asset protection and cross border structuring.

Originally from South Africa, Phillips has close to 20 years of experience within offshore fiduciary and wealth management.

Broadridge
Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Michael McPolin as head of international market advocacy, spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.

He will work with regulators, industry associations, and strategic clients to ensure that the voice of the customer shapes regulatory and market structure developments. Based in London, McPolin will report to Stephanie Clarke, head of international strategy and corporate development.

McPolin, who brings nearly 30 years of senior-level experience within the securities services industry, held leadership positions at JP Morgan and HSBC before joining Broadridge in 2020 as part of its leadership team for bank and broker dealer solutions.

Spring Capital Partners
London-headquartered Spring Capital Partners, an independent funds' distribution partner for boutique asset managers, has appointed Anna O’Donoghue (pictured below) as chief operating officer, effective immediately.

O’Donoghue began her career in the financial industry as a fund selector at IMS in 2002. She served in similar roles at F&C and AXA Architas before her promotion to investment chief operating officer in 2016. She then moved to Schroders in 2019 as head of operations and governance, and in 2021 became its global head of product development and governance – a position O’Donoghue held until taking up her role at Spring Capital.

"Anna’s appointment is a real coup for Spring Capital,” Justin Eede, director, Spring Capital, said. “As the business expands, our investment manager partners are increasingly working across different jurisdictions with different service providers. Anna’s considerable investment and governance experience will be invaluable as we grow, while continuing to deliver exceptional service for our investment manager partners and their clients.”
