Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Redmayne Bentley, Broadridge

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, and other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Redmayne Bentley
UK-based Redmayne Bentley, an investment manager and provider of stockbroking services, has appointed Pete Donaldson (pictured) as head of financial planning.

Donaldson, who has more than 30 years’ experience in wealth management and financial planning, spent many years working for HSBC in senior leadership roles, managing regional and national teams. He led major changes, including introducing the bank’s first digital client journey and remote advisory teams. Donaldson later joined Fairstone, where he was managing director of partnerships, overseeing the onboarding and integration of firms and developing professional partnerships throughout the UK. He has held senior roles across bank-based financial services and independent advisor firms, leading teams, reshaping services and supporting high net worth and business clients. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

“Growing our financial planning business is a key priority for Redmayne Bentley and I am delighted to welcome Pete to the firm,” James Andrews, partner and director of investment management at Redmayne Bentley said. “He brings extensive experience of leading and developing financial planning businesses, helping advisors to succeed and improving services for clients.

“His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to invest in our service and strengthen our offer in support of our long-term growth ambitions. Pete's leadership and strong track record will help us continue to develop our service in the years ahead,” Andrews said.

Broadridge
Broadridge Financial Solutions, which provides tech solutions to financial firms, has appointed Theo Golden (pictured below) as head of tokenized product for its international area, a newly-formed role.

Theo Golden

Golden, based in London, will lead tokenized product development across the New York-listed firm’s international markets, it said in a statement. Golden will be responsible for designing, building and bringing to market tokenized products across capital markets, funds and tokenized assets.

Prior to this, Golden worked at UK-based Baillie Gifford, where he served as head of digital assets.

A CFA charterholder, Golden has direct buy-side portfolio management experience and an understanding of the operational friction investors face in dealing, settlement, servicing and reporting. Earlier in his career, he worked in journalism at Business Insider, Bloomberg and Acuris.

Among recent appointments, Broadridge named Boaz Lahovitsky as its new president of wealth management. He succeeded Mike Alexander, who remains with the company working on strategic programmes and initiatives. It also appointed Mark Nichols as co-president, digital assets to head Broadridge’s strategy, product development, and execution across tokenization and digital assets.
