Geneva-based asset management company Noble Capital Management (NCM) has appointed Mourtaza Asad-Syed as a senior fund manager, responsible for equity strategies.

Asad-Syed has nearly 30 years of experience in financial markets and asset management. He has been chief investment officer and a member of the executive committee at ODDO BHF (Switzerland), formerly Landolt & Cie, from 2019. Prior to that, he served as global head of investment strategy at Société Générale Private Banking and served in various roles at JP Morgan, the Caisse des Dépôts & Consignations and McKinsey.

He also founded and chaired the ISAG, the Geneva Investment Strategists Association, and has been a member of the board of the Wright Foundation for the Promotion of Science since 2014.

NCM, which specialises in antifragile investments, manages three funds under Swiss law and offers wealth management services to ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices. Founded in 2015 in Geneva, NCM oversees a total of SFr1.3 billion ($1.48 billion) and employs eight staff.
