The latest moves, appointments and other senior personal changes for wealth management in the UK, mainland Europe, Middle East and select international jurisdictions.
M&G Investments
M&G
Investments has appointed Lee Tindell as asset management
chief information and technology officer. Tindell joined on 5
May.
With more than 25 years’ experience leading large-scale
technology transformation programmes in global financial services
businesses, Tindell has joined from Mercuria, where he was CTO
for applications. Prior to Mercuria, he held technology
leadership positions at Man Group, including CTO for business
technology and head of IT development.
Separately, M&G Investments has appointed Paul Haegy
(pictured below) as head of infrastructure debt and private
placements within its £81 billion ($110 billion) private markets
business.
Paul Haegy
Based in London, Haegy previously worked for more than 15 years
at Goldman Sachs, most recently as head of EMEA infrastructure
and energy financing.
In his new role, Haegy reports to James King, head of M&G’s
£24 billion private and structured credit platform.
Capital Generation Partners
Capital
Generation Partners, a private investment office serving
families, trusts, and endowments, has appointed former JP Morgan
Private Bank figure Chady Jouni as chief investment officer,
effective yesterday.
At JP Morgan Private Bank, Jouni served as senior multi-asset
portfolio manager and executive director within the chief
investment office. A CFA Charterholder with 19 years of
experience in multi-asset investing, Jouni has also held senior
positions at Barclays Investment Solutions and Baring Asset
Management.
CapGen, founded in London, has grown from $2.6 billion to $5.3
billion in assets under management over the past five years.
Including assets under advice. The firm now stewards $11 billion
for clients ranging from Malaysia to New York.
JTC Law
JTC Law has
appointed Stefan Schausberger as head of private client and
international trusts.
Based in Jersey, Schausberger will advise international
corporates and private clients. He has more than a decade of
offshore legal experience. He was admitted as an Advocate of
the High Court in South Africa, where he began his legal career
as a criminal defence litigator. Since then, he has specialised
as an offshore lawyer in South Africa and Jersey, advising
clients across multiple jurisdictions on both private client and
corporate matters.
Azora Capital
Azora Capital,
a real assets investment house founded in Madrid in 2003, has
appointed Anne-Jan Jager as managing director in its business
development and strategy team, to lead its international
expansion.
Over the past five years, Jager has been MD and co-head of real
estate for Europe at Partners Group. He started his professional
career at UBS Global Asset Management, working there for almost a
decade in Europe and the US.
